Exploring Form & Impact at Engadin Art Talks (E.A.T.)
Crozier x Engadin Art Talks (E.A.T.)
At Crozier, we recognize the power of art as a catalyst for social transformation, and as the global authority in fine arts logistics and storage services we celebrate our role as stewards of the world’s most important and inspiring works. That is why we are excited to highlight our longstanding partnership with the Engadin Art Talks (E.A.T.), a unique platform fostering interdisciplinary exchange among artists, curators, and scholars. Taking place annually in the stunning region of Zuoz, E.A.T. serves as a space where creative minds come together to explore contemporary themes and their role in shaping our world.
Over three days Fabio Kubli, Storage & Galleries Coordinator, Crozier Zurich and myself, Xenia Weiss, Head of Global Strategy & Business Development Switzerland met with clients and new contacts to discuss how the art world is evolving and explore opportunities to collaborate.
Form & Impact: The Theme of 2025
This year, E.A.T. explored the dynamic relationship between form and impact, two fundamental forces that define artistic and scientific expression. How does impact take shape? What role does form play in channeling creative energy into meaningful change? Whether in art, architecture, dance, music, or literature, these questions were at the heart of the discussions, highlighting how engagement and structure are essential to transformation.
The 2025 edition of the Engadin Art Talks featured an inspiring lineup of participants who exemplify the intersection of form and impact in their respective fields, such as:
- Norman Foster: A renowned British architect and founder of Foster + Partners, celebrated for his innovative contributions to modern architecture.
- (LA)HORDE: An artist collective comprising Marine Brutti, Jonathan Debrouwer, and Arthur Harel, known for their dynamic visual and performance art.
- May al-Ibrashy: An Egyptian architectural engineer and founder of Megawra-Built Environment Collective, dedicated to heritage preservation and sustainable development.
- Sammy Baloji: A photographer from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, whose work explores memory and the socio-political history of his homeland.
- Alvaro Barrington: A Venezuelan artist based in London and New York, recognized for his multidisciplinary approach and community-focused projects.
- Holly Herndon and Mat Dryhurst: Berlin-based artists and composers, acclaimed for their explorations in music, technology, and AI.
- Susan Hefuna: A German-Egyptian multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges cultural divides through various mediums.
- Rick Lowe: An American artist celebrated for his community-driven projects and contributions to social practice art.
- Maja Hoffmann: A Swiss philanthropist, art collector, and founder of the LUMA Foundation, supporting contemporary artistic creation.
- Martina Voser: A Swiss landscape architect and professor, known for her innovative designs that harmonize with natural environments.
- YESHE: A Tibetan singer-songwriter and artist based in New York City and Zurich, blending traditional influences with contemporary artistry.
Curated by Daniel Baumann, Koyo Kouoh, Hans Ulrich Obrist, and Philip Ursprung, the event showcased how form and engagement can lead to tangible societal impact.
